This book was at the top of my reading list for Black History Month! Loved reading their last collab The Personal Librarian. A little under 20% into it and I have already learned all kinds of things about Mary McLeod Bethune and Eleanor Roosevelt (and FDR), very interesting time in history.

This year seems like a good month to watch some rom coms I’ve somehow never seen. Lighthearted entertainment is much needed. Tonight is Four Weddings and a Funeral.

I’ve been trying to get to the movies I want to watch on the Criterion channel that are leaving at the end of January, so I watched Laura (1944) last night. WOW. This is such a great noir, several fun twists and reveals, and I’m so glad I got to watch it! High Sierra next! @criterion.bsky.social

As a lover of Anne of Green Gables, I decided to finally get around to reading the Emily series. I’m about 50% in and it’s so delightful. The way LM Montgomery captures the magic of imagination and childhood warms my heart 🥹❤️ #booksky

I’m so used to seeing horrific Trump bumper stickers and window stickers in Florida that I just about died of happiness when I saw this badass dragon.

Late last year, I got into watching movies, because my poodle loves sitting on the couch and watching with me. Found out about Criterion and what a cool company! My goal for 2025 is to watch at least 30 new-to-me Criterion movies. These are my first 4 @criterion.bsky.social I’ve watched this year:
