That comes in the form of repeated exposure to groups for most dogs but in a slow drip. Usually they would have new dogs slowly get integrated into group play until they were comfortable enough to engage with other dogs. That said, some dogs just aren't very social and it doesn't work for everyone.

Mhm. Some dogs just don't like that environment and in many cases there's dogs who just don't do group play at all (Usually either they're no neutered yet or they have issues with other animals and have to be handled separately)

Some dogs don't do great at daycare groups. Having worked in those environments for many years I feel at least a little bit comfortable saying that some pets, especially the older ones tend to stick to the edges. That's a lot of stimulation for an older animal, y'know?
