Success Through Failure  - Quay Arts
Saturday 2nd August 10 - 1pm | Minghella Theatre, Newport £30
www.quayarts.org
July 24, 2025 at 2:01 PM
We’ll talk about how failure can be a quiet teacher, how a neurodivergent perspective sometimes struggles with failure but can offer fresh ways of seeing, making, & responding.
July 24, 2025 at 2:01 PM
What if failure wasn’t something to avoid, but something to work with?
An active, hands-on session, exploring how getting things ‘wrong’ can open unexpected creative doors & how that process could be especially meaningful for those of us who experience & engage with the world a little differently.

Beautifully illustrated by British artist Carim Nahaboo, the posters highlight the Island’s unique landscapes and biodiversity. They serve as prompts for exploring local flora and fauna, scientific drawing, & the Isle of Wight’s Biosphere status.

The final artworks will be displayed in the Quay Arts café from 28th June before being returned to the participating schools.
The posters were originally commissioned by The Common Space, a not-for-profit group dedicated to restoring and celebrating public spaces on the Island.
