@gailsimone.bsky.social reading an old issue of Top Cow crossover works (specifically the Tomb Raider, Magdalena, Witchblade and Vampirella crossover) I was again surprised to find your name on it. Though it made me wonder...are there any from that old line you'd like to write for?

I've been a gamer for...shit a long time. There's been quite a few games that I have played that just suck me in and leave me with wanting more from their world. Mass Effect, Baldurs Gate, Life is Strange, Lunar and more I know I'll think of later. @adhocstudio.com 's Dispatch is among them now.

Been a hot minute since I updated and I finished some more books since then! So let's get at it!

Most think that Vampire stories really took off with Dracula by Bram Stoker in 1897. For the most part, it is true...but Vampire stories had been around since 1817 at least with one story being almost as famous as Dracula.

The story of Carmilla.

If you're like me and are finding the wait for Grand Theft Auto 6 to be dragging on for an eternity, might I recommend a tide me over? Mafia: Defenitive Edition is the 2020 remake of the 2002 game of the same name.

Finished playing Until Dawn (2024) on PC. I played the original in 2015 and absolutely loved it. I have some issues with things this version does, but it's much still that same wonderful game. If you're looking for a horrifying good time, definitely check this game. #gaming2025

Wow...just finished Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Tape 2. What can I say except...holy shit that. I don't want to get TOO much into it since you should absolutely go in blind to it, but suffice it to day it left me in bittersweet tears at the end. This was just...a hell of an exoerience.

'The Sword of Destiny has two blades'

Added Sword of Destiny by Andrzej Sapkowski to my #2025readlist. It follows Geralt through six more tales detailing his tumultuous romance with Yennefer, the growing dangers of the world and the future of a certain destined child. Definitely a good read!

What if you had a second chance to fix your mistakes? Would you take it? And if so, what would that do to you? That's the question at the heart of Seconds by Bryan Lee O'Malley as it follows successful restaurateur Katie after her plans fall apart and an employee is injured.

Just finished playing the first Witcher game last night. Even nowadays it has a great story and the gameplay holds up quite well with you having to balance potions and the various combat styles. It can feel a little janky at times, but that's easy to overlook. Check it out if you haven't already!

Normally, I wait to to recommend a game until I play the whole thing...but Lost Record: Bloom and Rage was too phenomenal to not talk about it now.

Oh I can already tell I'm going to be terrible about doing this, but added three new books to my #2025readlist.

Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. A fun and fascinating Vampire book that was a great read! If you're a fan of noir and/or horror, definitely check this out.

@adamwarren.bsky.social I just finished reading empowered vol. 12. It feels...bitter sweet that a comic I've read since I was 15, really the first comic I ever collected, has come to an end, but so it is. I look forward to whatever journey lies ahead.

Thank you for such a hell of a read.
