Harvests bounty This wicker basket is far more than it appears. Small orange and yellow runes in the shape of falling leaves decorate the handle. Opening the basket, it’s much bigger on the inside. This item grants the following properties: It acts like a normal “bag of holding”, in addition to the following: A number of times per day, equal to your proficiency bonus you may do one of the following: - Pull a full, mundane meal for four from the basket. - pull reagents, up to 25g, from the basket (for cooking, herbalism, potion making, etc) - Pull a fruit that when eaten, heals for con x prof bonus. Once per 7 days, you may cast “heros feast”.

Potion - Draught of invigoration potion rare This lively orange liquid bubbles fiercely, it’s stopper held in place by a metal ring. When opened, there is a rush of air out of the bottle. This smells and tastes strongly of ether and spice. Use: Drinking this potion suspends the unconscious condition, waking the character and bringing the character back to 1hp (if necessary) in addition to the following. Drinking this potion grants the following for 5 rounds. -Your speed is increased by 10 feet -attacks of opportunity against you are at disadvantage -you gain one additional Bonus action and reaction per turn When the 5 turns are over, you gain one level of exhaustion, as the potions effects wear off. If you were unconscious before taking the potion, you are unconscious again.

While the bones look ancient, and the blade is rusty, it is far from fragile. While holding this, you feel a slight chill around you, as if a presence that you can’t see is watching over you. Attuning to this item grants the following: You gain +3 to attack and damage rolls with this weapon. On hit this weapon does 1d12 slashing, plus 2d6 necrotic damage. You gain +2 to spell attack rolls, as well as your DC. You gain resistance to necrotic damage. Any summoned undead under your control gain 2 extra hit dice, and do 1 die more of damage. you learn the “toll the dead” cantrip - you may cast this at will. When a creature within 30 ft of you dies, you may harvest part of it’s life essence as a reaction. You gain 2 charges (up to 10 charges total) and may use them as follows: 1 charge: cast wither and bloom 2 charges: animate dead, speak with dead 3 charges: blight 4 charges: raise dead 5 charges: summon 1d4 skeltons 6 charges: finger of death

In keeping with the spooky season, yesterday I dropped a homebrew monster, the "smoke fouled zombie"
Smoke fouled zombie Medium Undead, neutral evil Armor Class 12 Hit Points 55 Speed 25 ft. STR 15 (+2) DEX 6 (-2) CON 18 (+4) INT 3 (-4) WIS 5 (-3) CHA 3 (-4)Saving Throws Str +5, Con +7 Skills Athletics +5 Damage Resistances acid, fire, necrotic; bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks Condition Immunities charmed, exhaustion, frightened, poisoned Senses darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception 7 Challenge 5 (1,800 XP) Undead Fortitude. If damage reduces the zombie to 0 hit points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5+the damage taken, unless the damage is radiant or from a critical hit. On a success, the zombie drops to 1 hit point instead. Stare of stupor. At the beginning of the zombies turn, if it can see you: range 10ft - the zombie stares into your eyes, dragging your mind into the haze that surrounds it. DC14 wis save - on failure: 3d6 psychic damage and grants you one "mark of stupor" - 3 marks, and you're stunned for 1 minute. On success, half damage and no mark. Pack tactics. Gain 15ft of movement on your next turn. Gain advantage on your next attack. Gain the effects of a random helpful spell - Dm’s discretion. Gain the effects of a random helpful potion - Dm’s discretion. Tricks: Instantly take damage equal to your level+prof bonus. Edge of the Abyss Greatsword, legendary This blade was forged by a ruler of hell for their chosen. How it came to be in your possession is anyone’s guess. This massive blade is made purely for destruction, its appearance as brutal as its purpose. The executioners blade is adorned with fissures of abyssal energy, an ever present link to its plane of creation. This sword grants its user remarkable power, but at a cost… Attuning to this blade grants the following: You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Your str score increases by +2. On hit, this great sword does 2d6 slashing, plus 3d6 fire damage. You gain resistance to fire damage, and can speak and understand abyssal. On a critical hit, damage is multiplied x3. When you kill a creature with this sword, it gains a measure of the soul’s power. This sword can hold up to 9 charges. You may use this power as follows: - As an action, you may make one brutal strike against a target within range. This attack automatically hits, and does damage equal to: number of charges expended x player level. Curse: unbeknownst to anyone who looks upon this sword,the power granted comes from a ruler of one of the layers of hell. Attuning to this sword creates a connection, and using the sword constitutes a binding contract. A contract that will be collected on at a time of the abyssal lords choosing. This curse is not apparent to magics such as identify, and the wielder only knows something is wrong if they try to untune, as they will be unable to do so.

Bex’s magical menagarie This small snowglobe looking object depicts rolling hills, and verdant greenery. Small brassy runes adorn the bottom, surrounding various depictions of animals. Using the command word, a small stable appears, about 20ft on a side. Putting animals in this keeps them safe, and allows them to have free reign of a pocket dimension that is suited for their comfort. Attuning to this object grants the following: This stable may hold 6 large creatures, 6 medium creatures, and any amount of small (or smaller) creatures. When you put an animal in the stable and close the gate, they are transported to a pocket dimension that is tailored to them. Recalling an animal is as simple as stating the name of the animal, and opening the gate. All creature are safe from harm while in the menagerie. You gain proficiency in the animal handling skill and expertise if you already have it. You gain a +3 to skill checks related to animals (medicine, insight, etc) You may cast “speak with animals” 3 times per day You may cast guardian of nature, and locate create each once per 3 days.
