In April 2025, Yury Belyaev of WG5, visited the Central Analytical Facilities (CAF) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa and organized a hands-on microscopy workshop covering wide-field and confocal microscopy, image analysis, and microscope maintenance.

WG 1 - Illumination Power published its third version of the protocol "Illumination Power, Stability and Linearity Measurements for Confocal, Widefield and Multiphoton Microscopes". The protocol is featured on protocols.io.

The WG 2 released its first protocol “Characterization of the Photon Conversion Factor, Noise, and Dynamic Range of Light Microscope Detection Systems“.

The Quality Assessment and Reproducibility for Instruments and Images in Light Microscopy (QUAREP-LiMi) is committed to democratising access to quantitative and reproducible light microscopy.
