War Dogs
by Greg Bear

An epic interstellar tale of war from the point of view of a soldier fighting mysterious alien invaders on Mars. Written in a way that made this really easy to consume. Filled with future tech and some pop cultural references that make it very relatable.

After On: A Novel of Silicon Valley
by Rob Reid

One of the best books I've read all year. Funny, cringy, pop-culture, and sarcastic book about technology and artificial intelligence. The audiobook is acted out like a play. I would highly recommend you read this.

A political space opera. The writing style makes this a taxing book to get through but it's an interesting story. More Political Opera in Space than a Space Opera.

A Deepness in the Sky
by Vernor Vinge

An epic Hard SciFi book, but it's way too long.

It's a prequel to "A Fire Upon The Deep"
which is a much better book in my opinion.
