I spent all day yesterday playing this amazing game. It is so much fun. I've got a couple chores to get out of the way first, but I'm excited to jump back into the world of Lukamiar and the Quantum Fog...for most of the day!!! Love it!!!

We're very pleased to announce that #LukamiarLegendsLeviathan, the Collectible Monster Trading Card Game Video Game, is now out of Alpha and into Beta!

Also, initial Closed Beta testers were sent their invite links today, so Beta Testing has also begun!!

Today's a good day!
This is the Flubble card. Flubble is a froglike creature with stubby wings that rides a bubble. They have three attacks: Sproing (Animalia), Fly (Air), and Wash On (Soap or Liquid). The Flubble is Animalia, Air, Soap class. Their Talent Not Done lets them be immune to all Soap Class attacks! Flubble's Wash On attack lets them become Charged to do +2 extra pow with their next attack. "Flubble rediscovers what they tried to shed for approval. Flubble will never deny their own selfhood again!" The Giplosion card. Giplosion is an ever-expanding bird ball of plasma and earth, sending out energy in all directions. They have three attacks: Big Bang (Plasma), Cosmic Radiation (Ion), and Disintegration (Sediment). The Giplosion is Plasma, Sediment, Leviathan Class. Their talent Fullness lets them do 2x damage after missing attacks, but their other Talent forces a Demorph if a specific other card is in play. "Giplosion no longer needs to keep moving, because their pursuer has since ceased. Yet slowing down brings new challenges." The Mad Scientist card. Mad Scientist is a Legend Human, wearing a pair of steampunk goggles ironically as they cackle. Depicted as a stick-figure, as the Quantum Fog blurs all possibilities of all humans who could be the Mad Scientist. They are standing in front of an large On-Off switch, and a rustling bed with lightning striking. Their attacks: Direct, which can command Lukamiar to attack; Throw Switch, which can be Corrosion, Ion, or Magic, and can raise a Lukamiar from the Discard; and Distainful Strike which is Animalia. All humans can increase Lukamiar Pow, and store Lukamiar in Quantum Space. The Aquarine card. Aquarine is a Plastic Liquid Lukamiar, a flat sponge coral which has been encased in a plastic bag. The Aquarine's attacks are Balloon, which is a Liquid class and Dowses the Target and themself, Envelop which Engulps the Target, and Choking Hazard which can do increased damage if the Target is Engulped or Dowsed. Their Talent lets Plastic attacks only do VCD (~1/4) pow, when normally they would do CC (2x) pow. "Aquarine finally accepts that while bad things happen, it's okay to adjust and accept ourselves. Even if we have changes because of our past, that doesn't mean we are changed for the worse."

Wailoween is a Plasma / Intangible / Leviathan M3 Lukamiar. Wailoween's Breath levels are 39/41, their PR is 15. They have 3 attacks and 1 talent. Morphs Willoweep Image description: A towering pumpkin with flames engulfing them and their floating root hands. With triangle eyes and nose, and jagged hungry teeth, they rip the top of a tall building! Glower: Wailoween, done moping, now channels all of their grief at the Target. Intangible, 95%, 9 pow. Jack O' Lantern: Wailoween smashes the Target. The Target is now DISCOMBOBULATED ( 3 turns ).* Plasma OR BattleWar, 95%, 10 pow. Kin to Pump: Wailoween bobbles around determinedly, and bumps into the Target. Flora. 90%, 6 pow. Talent: Shriek: If any Lukamiar with. Plastic Attack or Class is in Play ro Queue, Wailoween does +4 pow. Wailoween's bendy limbs have all burned away, leaving a hollow, grimacing, burning seed that grows instead of shriveling to ash. They scour and search for unburnt greens. Series 1, 46/190, Fabled A card from Lukamiar: Legends and Leviathan Trading Card Game Video Game. A Lukamiar named Aloverth with three classes (Flora, Magic, and Elven), and three attacks (Procure, Luxurious, and Shock), a Talent (Vera), and additional flavor text. "Add 'Bubbles!' to the Environment before any other kinds of cards are played this turn (if this is Player's turn 0, and there are no nonHuman 1PR Lukamiar in Player's Hand, draw 1 card after doing so). Discard any other Weather in play (only discard your own in PVP). As long as 'Bubbles!' remains as active Weather: +3 Pow to all SOAP attacks." Oppressive Heat: Whenever Player draws a Weather card, they play it immediately, even if in turn 0. Can only be removed by other Weather. Weather can never be Attacked nor Targeted, nor does it take damage, nor DISCOMBOBULATED / etc. Series 1. "YAAAY!!!!!" 154/190 Triangle Mark (Infrequent) This matrix shows how every class’s attack pow will be affected by being Class Critical or Class Defensive from other classes. CC means Class Critical, or 2x pow. On the other hand, CD is Class Defensive, 1/2 pow rounded up. There are also VCC and VCD; Very Class Critical and Very Class Defensive, and also VVCC and VVCD. This happens when one class’s attack pow is CC or CD to two or more of the Target’s classes. VCC = 2x 2x = 4x and VVCC = 2x 2x 2x = 8x. Today we implemented an autosave system! It also checks if any errors have been caught and stops autosaving; and then prompts the player if they want to load from the autosave, or continue playing in the “unpredictable and/or unstable” state.
The Lukamiar: Legends and Leviathan game board, with several cards in play. There are a couple lukamiar in the cadre, and a couple Humans in the Crowd, and a Brickle in the Clash. There’s also the player Human in the Cadre, and three cards in the Player’s hand. The message window says “Autosave finished!” This is the same game as before, but the red background indicates it’s Monster’s turn, in the bottom of the turn, later in the game. Monster’s three Lukamiar have all attacked, and are exhausted (rotated 45 degrees clockwise). There is a yellow exclamation mark in the message window, which says “Do you want to load from the error-free autosave? If not, you may continue from here, but be warned that 1) You will be unable to save, and 2) Gameplay may be unpredictable and/or unstable.” The options given to the player are “Yes, load AutoSave” and “No, keep playing”

Two years ago, LLL was still in the pencil-on-paper card test phase! Ah, how time flies.

Now it's on its way out of Alpha, & I’m really excited to show progress!
