We need a full blown EU federation now! Only a state will guarantee that an attack on one, is an attack on all. We need a light speed scaling up of defence industriest, and EU Tech sector. The current system is to slow. The EU needs massive reforms to its core structure now, or it will fail...

So if the US is teaming up with Russia against Europe, then maybe Europe should team up with China? If the US is cut off from China and European industries, they can't pose a treat to Europe for very long. Just saying. It might says Lockhead Martin on the sticker but...

Yes—again, invention isn’t the same as mass adoption. Predicting the future isn’t an exact science; it’s speculation. No one can predict the stock market with 100% accuracy either. It’s not hard facts, but a range of outcomes worth considering.

Have you looked at Tesla's FSD in the U.S. recently? The progress is impressive—and fast. Sure, Boston Dynamics leads in robot agility, but Tesla’s edge is scalable, low-cost production. That’s where Optimus could matter. Producing advanced tech affordably is one of Elon’s strengths.

Of course he’s a great salesman he’s American. But he’s close Elon Musk, a longtime friend and former student. So Musk’s outlook may be shaped by his views.

Wireless tech existed, but predicting global consumer internet by 2010 in 1990 was still impressive Invention isn’t the same as mass adoption.

Unfortunately, I believe your spot on.
Also, the geopolitical rules based order only works, when there is someone strong enough and willing to enforce it. That is becoming brutaly clear to such one's as myself who has not known anything else and taken it for granted.

From a U.S. perspective, market access isn’t enough. It's about securing strategic control and denying rivals like China access. Canada and Greenland are open through market ( for now ) but sovereign. Russia isn't an ally their China's. The U.S. seeks reliable access and leverage over competitors.

In this context, I was thinking about a significant effect in around 10 years. I base this on the predictions of Peter Diamendis, which basicly predicts that the development and rollout of AI and robotics( especially humanoid) will go much faster than most assume. Musk and Diamendis are connected.

Then gaining access to / controlling the largest country on earth, with all of its vast natural ressources. Perhaps is suddenly not so crazy? Throw Canada and Greenland into to the mix, and you have an undisputed world power in terms of access to natural ressources.

But what if you believe that AI and robotics are going to massively transform Economics in the near future? If you believe that soon Robots and AI, will create almost unlimited labor, productivity only constrained by the physicall ressources and energy, necessary to build and power them?
