Yes, extends rights to millions. Puts right a serious imbalance of power, easy to understand and for a judge to rule upon. Miles better.

Still the biggest and most radical change to employment law in at least 50 years. Other countries have day one rights for unfair dismissal, but not without problems, and the probation process was looking a right mess.

Sensible compromise from unions and employers. Just what Labour should be about.

Exactly so.

I would much prefer she'd just raised tax. I believe she'll have to eventually, and probably by more as a result of waiting..

Please ask her why she didn't given that Jeremy Hunt cut NI just before the election when he knew the conservatives had lost, purely to make life difficult for labour.
November 27, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Wild. Apparently the law was changed in 2022 though.

I concur.

Nice. Marmite and Marmalade for me all the way, but I might try lemon rind and cream cheese just for a change..

Sensible compromise, made through agreement between employers and TUs - almost like social dialogue is properly functional if a government works at it properly.

Have the premier at the @princecharlescinema.com (Prince Charles) in London - c'mon you know it makes sense.

In my jury service half of the jury made their minds up at the end of the first day after hearing just the charge. One look at the guy is all it took...

They were right as it happens, but frightening how quick to judge without hearing any evidence, purely appearances and the context of the dock.

Or c-beams glittering in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate for that matter?

No? Well then.

Of course Besson should have made a Dracula film.

Just he should have set it in 1982 and cast Christopher Lambert as the count, Julie Delpy as a lovely vamp drifting through the metro system..

Pointless little wanker who has reduced his career to going round the world saying objectionable things and generally trying to get cancelled so he can complain about censorship.
November 24, 2025 at 7:53 PM
He's a piece of shite isn't he.

However, the coverage of this seems to start with the premise that this is surprising.

If someone had asked me what Farage was like as a child I would have assumed the answer included nasty little racist joker.

I'm even all the way.

Even squares are ideal - multiples of four generally desirable.

I like primes well enough and an odd square too, but I wouldn't set my TV to one.
November 24, 2025 at 7:35 PM
This is the way.
November 24, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Cheers - good to know.

I'm seeing loads of these all of a sudden. Big battery and reasonably spacious inside. Look ok. They any good?
November 23, 2025 at 10:00 PM
You can do it.

I think maybe they started in central Poland.

By all means do a wealth tax, it'll help but not enough. More importantly, raise income tax or NI. The previous government cut nat insurance in a clearly unaffordable way when they knew they'd lost the election.

We aren't paying enough tax for the labour party to do the things we want them to do.

More than 100 years since a bearded president, and that's not a remotely good beard.

Not the only reason to doubt this. But probably reason enough in its own right.

The least of Mr Mallett's many crimes.

How do your knees feel though? Asking for a friend...

Stupid short-termist idiots are going to give the next election to Reform.
