Still on a hiatus from making more "finished" and clean digital art but I've been still doodling a lot on paper. Making drawings loose and fast without aiming to make anything clean or even good, is freeing. I get the same feeling from painting.

I am very excited for this job to be over. Only one more work day after this one and I'm out.

I've saved up enough money to tide me over for a month or two until I can start working at the new job I have lined up.

Temporary unemployment will be good for my mental health.

Very simple art that didn't come out the way I wanted it to, but she liked it and that's all that matters :3

Almost a bingo. I think only having characters with paws counts as avoiding drawing hands. The watermarking one has been mostly remedied now via adding my watermark to all my project templates.

I decided to make art for one of the kind lads I hang out with in #Webfishing. I've made my first friend in over 6 years thru that game and have met loads of cool people.

Life is finally improving now that I have people to talk to. The void is slowly fading. :)

This piece for some reason was super difficult for me to get right. I was using reference of the player's character but struggled to figure out how I wanted to represent them. This drawing went through twelve iterations before I settled on this one. The background was done first but I just couldn't figure out how I wanted the character to look and where to be placed in the scene. -------- As a side note, this game has been a great way to make friends with people near my age that share interests with me. I bought webfishing out of desperation for social interaction while in the middle of an isolation-induced mental breakdown. I'm so glad I did. That day was perhaps one of my lowest lows and had I been of much weaker will, I think I would have done something drastic and very regrettable... I'm finally finding people who share interests with me and making friends. I don't feel so excruciatingly lonely in this void of mine now and I actually look forward to waking up in the morning. If someone actually took the time to read all this, I hope you have a nice day! :)

Her name is Chioni :3 She's offering you a lil flower. A quick little sketch. The idea for a character with a head and face of this form has been in my head for a few days. She has a mix of doggie and kitty energy but I think she's some kind of cat. It's funny how with some of my drawings I spend so much time trying to come up with a new character, just to make a new one like this in 30 minutes. I'm still not very good at hands.

I hate the feeling of getting excited about a new idea for a piece of art and as soon as I start on it, immediately being confronted by the fact my skills aren't good enough to let me create it...
