Airbrush artist, Metal Head, model builder, biker, pc-gamer, animal and nature lover, hobby chef and woodworker, plus more… I’m living in Luxembourg, Europe.🤗
I didn’t mod FO4. The only mod I installed was an unofficial patch to fix major bugs, like objects falling through furniture, but it didn’t help much, neither on FO4 in Win10 nor in Linux. But the game runs better on a less performant laptop in Linux than on a faster one in Win10.

I’m playing Steam games and one EA game on my old test laptop, an Acer V791 Nitro with nVidia GTX860M. All you need is to installProton compatibility layers and find the one that works for you. I’m playing Fallout 4, Age of Empires I+II DE, DOOM III actually on Steam, and Command & Conquer 3 on EA.

But that’s only the eye candy. What really matters is what’s under the hood. Working with Linux is so much easier. It’s free of bloatware, free of AI spies, it doesn’t want an online account but the user is fully free to configure it after personal taste.

I will not submit to Microsoft’s new Windows 11 terms, therefore I tried Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon, and I really love it. My desktop looked never as beautiful as it’s looking now.

I like the layout with the chicken the most but I would appreciate it if you could make the menu also be available on the right side of the screen. 🤗

Bluesky is more like the old Twitter was. I guess that’s because its CEO was a co-founder of Twitter. The design of Facebook was better, but got all messed up by the greedy Zuckerboy with all the ads and the AI-generated bullshit content. I’m still using Meta too much. I should be more present here.

Hey, nice to see you here.🤗🌹
Yes the 300 characters limit is a bit annoying but maybe it’s not for direct messaging. I gotta figure that out.

I own two Slims too, and a Sotar2020-1 with a slightly bigger cup. I love those airbrushes because they feel almost like pencils.
Switching colors on the side-feed is easy when using several cups, and Badger cups are low cost compared to Iwata. I use five small cups and a bigger one for cleaner.

So you certainly know Steve Puffer, owener of Barwell Bodyworks? I bought my first Sotar2020-2 from him in 2017. Link to his shop.

I would appreciate some info about Flashes first before I test it. What is it? A photo app?

And here’s the official Badger model. It will be Nickel plated.

My little side-feed Sotar became so popular, my friend and owner of the Badger company, Ken Schlotfeldt, decided to produce it as the official Sotar side-feed. Now the second batch of 50 airbrushes is in production. Here’s mine, with Sotar head and tail and .21 setup from the Renegade Krome.

My first Badgers were a 150 and a 200 that I got from a friend in 2009. Bought my first new Badger, a Renegade Krome in 2012. Now I got a good collection of many. My favs are the Sotar and the Xtreme Arrow. Here’s part of my collection. The little Sotar100SF was self-build, based on a model 100.

Simple solution: do something that makes you happy. It must not be art. When you’re happy you’ll feel better and maybe you’ll be ready to create art again. Don’t force yourself to artwork. Actually I don’t feel for starting the painting that I prepared a few weeks ago already. So I do some woodwork.
