when I watch russian skating, i make a point to observe them as they leave the ice after a rough program, especially with eteri girls. how they’re trained to handle it emotionally, how they’re greeted by coaches / what emotions they’re allowed to show. I’m worried about Sofia Akatieva 😞 1/2 ⬇️

this is Margarita Bazylyk who I believe will be turning senior eligible at “the right time” if russia is allowed back. i’m torn between thinking they’ll choose her for their one spot they’ll get or if they’ll actually do what they’re discussing and send Kami. depends on their condition.

it’s not even just eteri doing it over there now. plushenko has a girl doing stupid shit way too young. also eteri’s been traveling with nika and seemingly abandoned the russian grand prix. gleik and dudykov accompany the girls now.
