Why pie? First, it's delicious. Second, it's philosophical. Ever noticed how many quotes about pie exist in the world? Consider Carl Sagan: "If you wish to make a pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe." See? Pie is a collaboration with both Creation and the Divine. WAY existential.
