Boring nerd here, there’s more subtle options for mechanical switches these days, like Kaihl Choc. No bulk, no noise, no battery. Just a keyboard.

Imagine struggling with imposter syndrome only for LLMs to be confidently incorrect while hyping themselves up to this extent. That build pretty much immediately crashed of course; this was already 4-5 iterations deep with minimal interference beyond feeding it back the build errors.

Mindstorms was pretty cool (great book!). But this product hits a bit different in current year. “Give your child the gift of surveillance equipment!” But for real this stuff was doing foundational ML tasks like basic image processing, motion detection and so on. In 2001.

Found some old workstations rotting away in the attic at the parental house. Forgive blurry pics, I’ll have a proper look later, these things are like 100kg+ each and I’m sweating from hauling these things around lmao.

For context, here's the preceding scenes. All this "boys will be boys" energy until this badass lady in blue shows up. Same playbook, too. That's the uncomfortable part 😬 The plot does a decent job of condemning this behavior though, to its credit.

I was not expecting "mom kicks hero's ass to protect her daughter" in a 1978 action movie (Drunken Master). Great way to intro these characters and establish the protag's flaws at HIS expense.

Got another one, thi- oops, wrong side. This game introduced me to Donkey Kong as a kid and I then proceeded to not have access to DK until GameCube, so I just missed out on a whole era but w/e it’s chill 😎

It’s been tough to find a mobile setup on the cheap. This’ll do nicely, though I worry about the stability of that round based table on an uneven surface like a forest floor or a grassy field. A music stand might be better here… 🤔
