That's been my thinking as well. I can't put 1 goal against Coventry down to Walsh, but clearly against Charlton his kicking was poor. Nardi's foot work is probably the best I've seen in a keeper, in recent yrs & to throw him under the bus is poor.
Walsh will need protecting at some point.

Since paying 2m for Dykes (we all know how that ended) and failing to improve on Sinclair, but getting a descant fee for him, it's as if they are cautious on splashing the cash for a striker. But also spending 3.5m on Madeson would dent anyones confidence in recruitment.
