Hello!
I thought you'd like it when I saw a film there back in the spring! Hooray.

I am enjoying your writeups and listening to all the songs I've missed this year! Quite a few good ones!

My sympathies. Lots in Sutton and Morden too.

Thank you!

I guess I want them to do the same thing forever which is not what they want to do! And fair enough! However I'm halfway through the new one now and it has some very pretty bits.

I still like them a lot! I'm sad Peter Hughes left though.

However, he is quite astonished that the former did 'My Favourite Game'. "This was by the Cardigans? They should have headlined Glastonbury several times for this! I'm going to like it on Spotify right now!"

I like this album, almost uniquely among Bluesky users!

They were, but some of them weren't so keen on being found. I read a very good and quite sad article about it: slate.com/culture/2023...

I love this album, better judgement be hanged!

If you are kind to your young protegé at your shiny big record label, she will definitely invite you to play your old songs at her gig! And there is only one British accent, a charming mixture of RP and occasionally saying "bloke" or "innit".

The day before! I don't think I will be doing both days of living in 1992...

Def Leopard, Soul II Soul and Suede, plus Olly Murs might do his one good song! Such a daft lineup that I cannot resist it.

I still think Let's Get Rocked is terrible, but now I'm going to see them in Chelmsford and will probably let them win me over...

No offence to all the fine Steves in my life!
July 16, 2025 at 9:46 AM
I would probably enjoy Poison and should investigate further, but CC is not quite as prosaic a name as Steve.

Having said this, I've now moved on to Hysteria, and Joe Elliott saying "C'mon Steve!" before the guitar solo in Armageddon It made me laugh out loud at my desk in the office. God bless them!

Welcome back! We still have food here, don't worry.

However, it appears that the Welsh word for cello is soddgrwth, which is such a dark and brooding-looking word that I'm quite intimidated by it.
