Current political norms dismiss such ideas of #mutualwellbeing as utopian. I would argue that actually they are both where humanity urgently needs to - and can – go. How? By drawing on modern thinking techniques for example such as the 5 techniques here. www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-t...

Sadly, one doesn't have to look too deeply into the history of religions to see how time and again they have been used by authoritarians to gain & maintain power, as well as justify wars & many abuses.

If an action doesn't meet the #goldenrule, then what is its religious basis?

We are encouraged to think and live in #narratives, but we actually live as a part of interrelated complex systems. If only for that reason, I try to take the time to question narratives and only partially accept even the most apparently well-founded of them.

Are we merely preserving "Money matters most" thinking in our current #economics, #politics & #culture, rather than properly change the systems we live within to focus on sustainable #mutualwellbeing?

Here is an article challenging complacent thinking about where we are curently heading..

Are humans 'feelings creatures who think', more so than 'thinking creatures with feelings'?

How well do we understand the relationships between our feelings & thinking and how they influence each other?

How often do we question what has and is driving our feelings or thinking?

The ideas of John Rawls, perhaps the greatest political philosopher of the 20th century, have much to teach the Left.

But his theory of justice failed to grapple adequately with the fundamental obstacles capitalism imposes to realizing a just society.

There have been applications of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion policies that were badly done from which we need to learn to do better, but what would it say about a society if it used those mistakes as an excuse to pursue policies of Non-Diversity, Non-Equity & Non-Inclusion? #DEI

Guess what, some #AI models are learning some of the the worst behaviours of humans 👇

So are we going to:

1) Act to control #AI adopting such malignant behaviours?

2) Recognise what this says about the deep flaws in current business & political competion & improve the rules?

If one of humanity's biggest challenges is to shift societies more towards #mutualwellbeing thinking (based on #diversityrich #openknowledge, not fixed ideologies), where can one start?
