Wikipedia disagrees with the last one, and "the level of an 11 year old" is not an official literacy measure, so it's hard to verify it.

I found two pictures. Not sure which one you were referring to, or were there more? Or is the wrong game?

I was going to suggest that it would be better with markers for different speeds, but it actually has the markers already!

They're still offering the normal measles vaccine doses to children, starting at 12 months. They're offering a special early dose at 6 months to babies in the most affected areas. Calgary and Edmonton aren't in these areas.

I've figured it out. China is adding capacity at an astonishing rate, so the overall solar and wind capacity dwarfs the USA, but as a percentage of total generation, they're comparable.
April 5, 2025 at 3:43 PM
If you look just at percentage share, wind also looks comparable in both countries.
April 5, 2025 at 3:25 PM
The good news is that the percentage share of solar for the USA looks very similar to China. Electricity generation isn't everything, but it's important.

BETA Technologies finished their first production electric plane, got it certified by the FAA, and then took it on a 3,064 nautical mile "Barnstorming" tour from Plattsburgh, NY to Santa Monica, CA. I'm allowing myself to get excited now.

That's a good paper, I hope reality works out like the model. They do acknowledge that the process has wide range of effectiveness, and can actually add carbon if done inefficiently.

Moving to clean energy will cut operating costs in half, but immediate investment is needed to help with the upfront costs.
