We were invited by 2 Canadian women, in a bar, in Sint Maartin to move to Nova Scotia where they live. It’s on our list now.

I saw today “the dildo of consequences rarely comes already lubed” & I thought exactly.

He keeps me sane in these crazy times.

We could have had the amazing Barbara Bollier but nooooo, we got this horrible waste of air instead.

Trying to stay sane. Start of day, did some baking. End of day, wine & fire. Take time to rebuild your strength & resistance.

I’m so tired of all the shit we’re being bombarded with. Luckily, I can walk & chew gum at the same time.

I’m closer to 66 than I am to 65. I’m tired but still fighting.

I couldn’t watch the certification today. Too many feels - anger, disgust, lingering disbelief, excruciating sadness at what we could have had. For anyone happy about today, you’re on your own. I’m taking care of the ones I love & the ones you have abandoned.

We were supposed to be in St Maarten’s for NYE but one of our fur babies was diagnosed with pancreatitis 4 days after we lost her sister to cancer. Unanimous decision to cancel. Making the best of life’s unexpected curves.

Typically my husband is YAY IT’S TIME TO DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS! And I’m like yay, here goes my OCD but I love having family & friends over. This year, neither of us are very holiday excited. But once I made the decision to only buy local, I find my mood has improved.
