We had no thump the entire series, Wilyer wasn’t ready to play, sogard and Eaton plus we brought up a guy who was 0-9 with a 7 era in AAA, and don’t get me wrong that dropped ball was huge, but that’s assuming that the Yankees don’t score when they did in the 8th anyways… which they did…

Im not saying he’s not emotionally a rollercoaster, but I think that’s kind of what makes his leadership qualities intangible. The volatile nature of his game when he’s on and who he is are very closely aligned in my mind, the guy who goes and takes the extra bases with a manager that points to him

That I’m in disagreement with you on. Didn’t have a good playoff sure/ had a down year, but to move on from him right now is a massive mistake. Your next leader, and does not get hurt. Would rather trade Wilyer who is oft injured, and frankly probably could get a higher return on
