9/11 was the reason it was invoked not Iraq, an attack on one is an attack on all that's what article 5 says and 9/11 was an attack on the US so under the NATO charter it was an attack on all NATO nations. Remember Bush ordered airstrikes on Iraq 7 months prior to 9/11 on Feb 16th

yeah but one NATO nation attacking another isn't a good look regardless of who's in office. Just hope someone can talk the orange one out of wanting Greenland before things get uglier and we can get back to talking about the Epstein files which he's in
