Before half term, Science club met to make 'puking pumpkins'. After they carved the pumpkins, they used them to create a chemical reaction. After this they made 'flying ghosts'. Science club meets every Week 1 on a Tuesday in SS5.

As a reward for fourteen weeks of planning for a whole school rewards day last July, a group of students were treated to a morning in Blackpool and seats at the BGT live auditions in Blackpool. An amazing experience made possible through the partnership between QKS and Youth Presence.

Thanks to the 2 Daves from Abseil Commercial for delivering an employer talk to 208 students. They gave an excellent insight into the company’s work & the range of career opportunities available, also highlighting how the essential skills developed in school transfer directly into the workplace.
