Now that we know #Sylus imbues sorcery into the technology he makes for his work (more lore on this later), his feathered companion's soul spawning as a piece of technology is very realistic. 🤖

Mephie 'allows' Sylus to customize his software for his work puposes, and carry out tasks in N109-Zone. 🐦‍⬛

The chapter also mentions how his source-code is a technology beyond human perception, giving it a heraldic vibe. As if he just crawled from the abyss of a system Wontony is incharge of. Which is a direct parallel to Stayrus escaping the Abyss in Beyond Cloudfall.
He is important in #Sylus 's story.

It mentions how the questionable antics of rogue AI No. 1 ensued some sort of technological friction between itself & Wontony. Which caused the creation of a source-code resulting in an AI spawning by itself.
Two AIs clashing together can generate new systems in real life, so this isn't far-fetched.

Mephisto coming into existence on his own from the depths of technological abyss gives him a slight demonic edge. Something unusual existing which shouldn't exist at all. Which is the main plot of #Sylus 's entire storyline. ♥️

It's been a while I haven't tackled the Hunter Contests. Now that I have hoarded all three of Sylus's companions, I need to clear this up. Hopefully the re-runs next year gives me more leverage with the Lunar cards which I currently don't have.

Throughout Sylus's storyline, we have seen the devouring aspect of his species. Yes, it has vampiric aspects of sorts. But he is NOT exactly a vampire. Nowhere he is addressed as such. Because he is way above some lowly creatures of dark. After loosing his physical body, he became the Undead King. ♥️

Part of the reason why he was able to become the Archfiend Sovereign after passing away in Beyond Cloudfall. He might have lost his physical body as a Dragon but not his powers. Which gave him the ability to take over and rule the Underworld: a dominion between the realms of the living and the dead.
