Shout out to the on the ground teams actually standing up and putting bodies on the line in front of ICE and Nat. Guard, Marines and cops. If anything, these avg citizens are the ones that made the occupation untenable and uncomfortable enough for Nat. Guard and Marines to pull out.

I’m sure there’s creative ways for states to throw a stick in the bike spokes of militarized occupation. Just need governor and mayor with the gumption to do more than tweet and go on podcasts.
