I had a Chessie who never let me get a photo. This was before smartphones or digital cameras. I wish I had a photo of her as she was beautiful.

It is part of life with PCNs. It's pretty terrifying to think that every eight weeks I have a surgical procedure done on both kidneys. But as long as I'm not on dialysis, I'm a happy camper.

My parents grew up with radio. My mom's dad could whistle operas. Mama knew the lyrics to all the songs the big bands played and Daddy knew all the trombone parts. They met when he conducted the opera orchestra at their college. All four of their kids are musical. It's in our DNA.

Yeah. It's on my profile page on IG and on FB. It's an issue. That and I have just over 1/10th followers that I had on Threads. I also miss editing.

hours of peace tomorrow as my roommate is going out for a procedure. I found out yesterday that she's DNR. I am not as yet, but I will be in a year or so. I really don't want to end up like some people who have no idea what's going on and no one who cares about them. I miss my people.
