ah yes, I have been hammering on the lack of security and options for a LONG time insofar as bsky is concerned. Email 2FA is better than nothing... but nothing when email addresses are stolen. Any rate not surprised AT ALL... but just stating the painfully obvious. It will likely get worse.

But, maybe I am wrong, still I see a lot of toxicity which I oppose. I don't mention height, wealth, etc because it matters far less than what are claimed. Besides, wealth, status, etc - it can be stripped easily. Qualities as mentioned cannot.

Regardless, some will agree some won't, that is fine.

1/2 Cruelty and injustice, intolerance, a depression? And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have senses and systems of surveillance. How did this happen? Who's to blame?

Thing is, sometimes all you can do is help where you can to the extent you can. Prepare not just short term but long term, use you skillset and stand with those who are US Citizens who share a common cause - actions needed now to mitigate (prevention is better but in many case too late).

Also, a lot of folks will be able to buy expensive gifts. There are other choices, depending age and such since I don't have kids but even then my recommendation would be more in the line of this I drafted some while back

I am not going to promote the selling of AI-enabled toys to kids. It is irresponsible and big tech care nothing for privacy, safety and security - their bottom-line is profit, don't make it yours.

Would love to know how much of this 40M is active monthly users, bots, who have since left the platform, etc, because 4️⃣0️⃣pretty much means [all time] users who signed up. I am willing to bet if the above is accounted for this number will be much lower. Just stating facts, nothing more, nothing less
