While it would hardly ever be touched again once things works, CI dx is, in fact, sooo bad

Am one of those; using it for years, always liked the norm it provides (might be addicted to yaml (;)

But tbh, as Im not following closely the topic and community, X or reddit just pick bad memes about kubernetes, how painful it can be, etc...
This is probably what most outsiders might see about it

from your perspective, does the required work have to be dedicated svelte specifically ? I lack of understanding of internals, but as vite or esbuild can build anything svelte/react/vue; major js frameworks could be spanned at once
