Retired after 50 years in horticulture, living in central Kentucky, USA.
I'm 75 and don't always finish a book. It is the author's responsibility to keep the reader interested. What book do students read where the DO read to the end?

It would be more efficient if the Supreme Court just moved their offices to the White House.

His comment implies that Economics has never, in the history of humans, ever been studied.

The Courts, in these cases, have abandoned 340 million Americans in order to protect one man. What kind of leadership is that?

The music was miserable. I would like to watch a documentary where music doesn't try to top the narration.

Our Courts have failed us, again and again. For one thing, an inexcusable lack of urgency.

You don't seem to get a lot of engagement here, but I hope you keep posting. I have a new appreciation of Norman Rockwell. An American treasure.

Some adults drink from the cup itself, and not from the little sippy-cup hole.

You are celebrating too soon. There is still the Supreme Court, which will probably hear and rule on the appeal.

Justice Brown pulled a legal maneuver that will keep the rest of the Court out of it. It now goes back to the Appeals Court, and they have already ruled against Trump.

National Public Radio calls them 'import taxes'. That's a better way of saying it.

Do you live in Kentucky and follow the Secretary of State here? He is a Republican, but is a staunch supporter of voter rights. His party does not like his stance on that. His reply: "you can vote me out next time around".

Impeachment has to start in the US House, not the Senate

Leaving office without starting a civil war should not be a prize-winning event!

Does !!!! mean that you agree or disagree with Sally?

I was hoping this would be said, and you said it well.

Which one is "he"?

It's always been "the people who let him be this way". Our President is a 9 year old running amuck, and the parents think he's cute.

For me, the genocide in Gaza is proof of the uselessness of the United Nations.

Not TV. Podcasts are radio. The best podcasts are with people that are from the world of radio. They understand that people ARE doing other things while listening, and the importance of voice and clarity. They know which words to emphasize so a half-listening audience can easily listen.

Abolishing ICE doesn't help. There is nothing wrong with having a group that polices immigration and border customs. It is necessary. The problems are the people running and manning it now.

Beef has been going up for quite a while--there are fewer cattle being raised. We have the lowest cattle inventory since the 1950's. www.fb.org/market-intel....
