I think that’s why my flight instinct has slowly atrophied and now I’m all fight. So many little baby steps between 6 months ago and now, each one choosing courage over cowardice in tiny ways. Love is far, far more powerful than fear in the long run.

This is beautiful. I can’t stop crying reading it. You’ve captured exactly why my fear turned to anger and determination, eventually leading me to join QCERT. Because the world IS beautiful, and we are beautiful. It’s worth fighting for.
