i don't understand people who transition and don't feel completely abandoned by this world. to me, to be trans is to die over and over - to watch the world die, as everyone becomes as good as dead to you. there's no rebirth, no light at the end of the tunnel. there's only permanent layers upon layers of solitude to be trans is to lose all hope and continue living that way, to have nothing to prove and no one to tell about your day. to be trans is to do whatever you want in a cold, lifeless world; playing alone on an endless road covered in snow.
