There are always little things you can do in your community with the resources you have. Regarding ICE, putting up Know Your Rights fliers, stickers, and Red Cards is a low-cost action that helps the people targeted directly AND sends a message that people in their community care about them.

To note, a lot of younger adults are STILL eligible under this new policy. Please get the new season's vaccine in the fall if you can. And WEAR A MASK! It's not too late to start masking again and protect your community. Find a mask bloc in your area. Fight the state's attempt at eugenics 😷

The FDA tries to justify the need for additional clinical trials with a placebo control arm (which is NOT typical for ethical reasons) by handwringing about declining public trust in vaccination and drawing parallels to the decline in MMR vaccination rates. Guess who is contributing to this?!

The FDA explained their new bullshit policy in an (open-access) article in the New England Journal of Medicine, and it is about as terrible as you would expect. Full of lies and obfuscation with barely any citations showing the continued danger of COVID-19.
