I think Qadan thinks she loves him more but in reality it’s equal. They’re both equally devoted (and codependent). This is just a byproduct of her messed up childhood and her believing it’s impossible for someone to actually love her. She’s working on it

Qadan would rather forget her childhood altogether but when her grandmother gifted her her first dagger Qadan felt seen and loved for maybe the first time in her life. I’d say that’s a pretty happy memory. She still carries that dagger with her.

Having to fight off assassins naked because her partner was too blissed out from adult cuddle time to help wasn’t funny in the moment but is definitely funny in hindsight. Mind you Qadan never takes off her face mask… even during adult cuddle time so that’s all she was wearing 🫣

I find Qadan the most annoying because she’s stuck in her head and lacks basic communication skills which sucks when she’s in a high intrigue political atmosphere where her actions and words affect so many

Yes, until she was summoned to be the hunt master for the court of the Traubnar Qadan stayed in inns, taverns, and in the wilderness if needed. She didn’t mind as much. It reminded her of being on the steppe.
