Can I use the same extensions with Waterfox? Mostly thinking of my citation manager Zotero.

Enjoyed this whole thread! Do you think looking at critical realism could help with this part? Learning about it in my PhD program helped me make sense of my own perspective and approach (nurse-midwife doing mostly ethnographic-ish work). I think it's a good grounding for mixed methods, too.

If you want to support people to breast/chest/bodyfeed their infants - **if** they want to/are able to - pass national paid family leave! The fact that they won't tells you everything you need to know.

@benjaminschultzfig.bsky.social this is what I was talking about in the meeting on Thursday. Can connect you with someone I met through Sanctuary Campus Network who did a deep dive into the form 990 at his university, if you like.

I tried to watch the first episode of Death by Lightning today and struggled with the dialogue within 5 minutes. When she says "since I was a teenager" in 1880!! Anachronism Grinch, reporting for duty 🫡

FWIW a couple of years ago I was intentionally late in booking my kids' annual well visits and now the visits are synced up in the fall when the flu shot is usually available. Totally get that that wouldn't work for everyone for a variety of reasons, but just throwing it out there.

I have loved that dress, and how sophisticated she seemed, and how strongly she felt, since I was a little girl.

Agh I was really enjoying the beauty of these images until seeing the image of the dark-skinned child laborer and their posture towards the woman in yellow. Awful. 😕🙁☹️

OK 1/2hr after posting that comment I read a scene in an otherwise beautifully written novel with people supposedly scrubbed in for surgery pushing glasses up their noses and touching things. You can't do that! Not anachronism exactly but some kind of healthcare worker version of the experience.
