Music is my passion. Follow me if you're interested in learning the history!

I'll also tackle other topics except religion & politics. Any religious & political comments would result an automatic ban from my profile.
In other words, the voters failed to induct these artists in their FYE.

A reminder that it's nothing more than an entertainment process. Which is something fans everywhere will never understand.

It was a divisive class.
January 18, 2026 at 3:30 PM
Way better than 2024
January 17, 2026 at 3:20 PM
Replace Rubin with Devo & put the former in the AEA. With said, this is definitely the best class I've seen for a long time even though it might not happen like this.

Another reminder of this kiosk not having any influence on the committee.
January 10, 2026 at 10:09 PM
Oh sure, let's give voting fatigue!
January 10, 2026 at 10:08 PM
Yet you got to admit that 3 or 4+ nominations are an example of voting fatigue. I don't need to be reminded of former cases including Kraftwerk, MC5, Judas Priest, LL Cool J & Chaka Khan.

Until it gets tiresome & uninspiring.
January 8, 2026 at 1:28 AM
And that was 3 or so years ago.
January 8, 2026 at 1:26 AM
What did you expect. Ceremonies like this are supposed to be about honoring music, quality & artistry, not commerce, sentimentality & nostalgia. That's what a lot of people don't get & it's ridiculous.
January 7, 2026 at 6:32 PM
I can't really blame him. I stop doing it because it's boring.
January 7, 2026 at 6:27 PM
I don't see a point of Devo returning for the fourth time when it's obvious they're very likely not going to be voted in.
January 7, 2026 at 6:24 PM
Way too many populist & borderline choices.
January 1, 2026 at 3:24 AM
It wasn't even that bad back 4 years earlier due to the fact live music was back in action following a year of zero performances yet overtime it's getting old & ridiculously insane. 2/2.
December 20, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Had it not been for Sykes, we still would have those legendary 5 - 10 member classes. These 13 - 16 inductions further cheapens the award & it gets exhausting every time. Not to mention, it's becoming more populist than historic. 1/2

Mana: One & done

Paramore: Would get theirs though not on their 1st year.

Thin Lizzy: Musical Influence

No Doubt: Won't even be considered.

Cafe Tacuba: ?

Oasis: 2026 here we come

Sleater/Kinney: Not as this moment.
November 21, 2025 at 3:39 AM
I second that.
November 21, 2025 at 3:35 AM
Tool would get theirs eventually though let's focus on Alice in Chains & Smashing Pumpkins first. As for the rest, very understandable & well thought. 4/4
November 21, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Culture Club & INXS? I get that Duran Duran were honored a few years ago, yet I don't see that happening for the two. 3/4
November 21, 2025 at 3:31 AM
To be fair, The Strokes would have to wait a few more years after eligibility to be put on the ballot. Then again, others such as Pixies, Sonic Youth & The Replacements are still waiting for their call. 2/4
November 21, 2025 at 3:29 AM
I don't get why bands such as Mott the Hopple & No Doubt warrant consideration. What had they done that's regarding as game changing moments. 1/4
November 21, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Now I know why they shouldn't been inducted in the first place.

I did check it out, thanks.
