19 years after I attended the European Course on Atmospheres (ERCA), from which I have many good memories, I'm back in Grenoble🇫🇷 now as a teacher 👴 at the new ERCA course (now only 2 instead of 5 weeks). Very excited to be here!

Bioaerosols make it all the way up to the frozen North Pole, where they can impact clouds! 🦠🐻‍❄️☁️ Check out our new publication led by Julia Kojoj within a fantastic collaboration our H2020 project CRiceS 👉 b.tellusjournals.se/articles/10.... @Stockholm_Uni @AcesSthlmUni

One of the coolest benefits of working @Stockholm_Uni are the amazing and truly inspiring @NobelPrize lectures at Aula Magna. However, every time I get the feeling that I should have studied something different. Protein design is really fascinating. Wow.

In our new publication led by Julika Zinke, we used optical, fluorescence microscopy and mRNA techniques to study the emissions, enrichment and fluxes of bioaerosols🦠🌊 emitted from Baltic seawater. Check it out 👉 acp.copernicus.org/articles/24/...

For one year, we measured bioaerosols *in situ* within clouds in the Arctic & studied their sources & potential link to mixed-phase clouds. And yes, we could directly identify them using microscopy! Check out our new paper 👉 acp.copernicus.org/articles/24/... #arctic #bioaerosols #clouds #aerosols

Update from Maïdo Observatory at La Reunion: short but strong rain events cause some impressive water streams running down the volcanic rocks towards our lab. This happens really fast. Luckily our mobile lab with instruments is placed on piles 🌦️🇷🇪🌋 @bolincentre.bsky.social
