I'm very interested in the slight amount of stuff surfacing about Android XR's "XRBodyTrackingFeature" and bits showing up in videos that show basic lower body stuff...

First snow of the year, whee.

It works!
Got it unboxed and setup with Virtual Desktop in less than an hour, spent about 2-3h in a VRChat meet. Face and eye tracking works!
Hardware is pretty great! Software needs some work, but it’s a barely released device. Quest 3 had issues on release too after all.

Galaxy XR headset got released.
Can't get it in Canada. No way to try it.
Seems like only a few USA locations have it available to play with.
... seems like work is sending me to Houston, Tx.

This is all with no direct input from me!

It works as an overall dim/brighten over the active pattern, so yeah!
Progress!

More things are working!
I now have audio reactivity!

… it is super basic, yeah, just getting audio to have a +1.65V offset and such for the ESP32 to process, but still!
I did a thing again!
And it WORKS!
… after triple-checking everything and adjusting values so many times until I noticed the incorrect “1X-10X” switch on the probes…

It might be cheap stuff, but better than nothing i guess!

Unstructured wireless sync’d ESP32s with WS2812b lights responding to commands from a “master” node, now with a more proper input board, and hopefully soon to be made audio-reactive in sync from a line in.

So instead of that disaster of wires sticking out, i’ve tried soldering things again. It went not quite as badly as the previous times i’ve tried it!
Experience gained!
I now have a nicer input board with 4.5 sliders and 3 buttons!
