This can actually occur on a legit cartridge if you misuse a GameShark. I remember using codes with it, then being confused as to why Mario was the only selectable character. This post solves my childhood mystery!

Just to confirm, DK Mode doesn't effect main characters in the Japanese version of Goldeneye, correct? If so, it's neat that you discovered that in your 28th anniversary video. :) It should be noted in @tcrf.net

However, the title theme fades out like the in-game version, and doesn't contain the OST's outro. 🫠

The Expansion Kit tracks finally have official names confirmed. They match the community given names, so maybe they were always a part of the ROM data. Or is this a rare case where Nintendo has adopted the unofficial names as official?

The patch addresses a checkpoint exploit recently discovered for a few tracks that allowed players to skip an entire lap by hitting a specific jump-plate at the right angle, flying into the void toward the finish line, then activating a superboost last second (or simply doing this on final lap).

I appreciated Season 2 for what it was. Season 4 is an emotional rollercoaster. Everyone is bringing their A-game. Hats off in particular to the young actors at the time, too. Not to mention, that one character that has a breakdown at the season finale... it hits hard.

It's not the easiest watch due to how heavy some of the subject matter is througout the series, yet I just couldn't pull myself away. There's so many layers and details in every part of the show.
