Scarification has existed for ages, more common in tribal cultures, but people really into body mods and tattoos do it as well.
I imagine she went to one of them so that she could be injured "safely" as opposed to just having someone inexperienced cut her.

I don't think that thought is outlandish.. I kinda started assuming they same. If they can keep everyone fighting over evidence they've already destroyed, then it's a free distraction from people working on stuff they can actually do something about.

7 /? LSS.. Im full on for givem a response even if its a simple "Listen... I dont even have everthing figured out yet, and really no one else does either." I think as elders if we give them "something" to help them understand they're not doing somethign wrong, and life is just wierd...

6/? (And rightfully so)... our options are, expend effort to help these folk, or fairly enough tend to our own stuff. We're not obligated to share that experience or effort...but if we don't... the enemy offers the "perfect solution" to all problems with no commitment.

5/? Also this perfectly encapsulates the whole, people who are worthy of power rarely seek it. Even if you're still dealing with your own life issues, the responsibility is being thrust upon you to alter these peoples lives. Whereas we might see these engagements as a burden...

4/? It doesnt matter if this is fair, or not... this is how people and the world work.. Neither RuPaul or Carl Sagan got to where they were by himming and hawwing... they had conviction in their ideals... Worry less on how to become accepted, and more on how to find peoople that accept you.
