The Mol were welcoming and generous to their guest, though a few looked on with anxiety - this was a wolf among lambs, after all - but their faith reassured them. Aigarn had never felt so grateful.
A group of xaela around a fire with a karakul sheep. Most wear Mol colors, including Cirina and Temulun, but the foremost wears Dotharli blue. Most seem fine, though a few appear nervous.

(ENDWALKER) Gpose of Two au ra in Elpis. Hex (xaela) is giddily reaching for axolotl efts in the bushes, looking back at Kai eagerly. Kai (raen) looks on in a smiling, eye-rolling way with his hands on his hips. Behind them are transparent figures of their corresponding ancients. Behind Hex is a white-haired man with a similar braid to Kai and with the same expression (Hex’s ancient, Erebus) and behind Kai is an orange haired man with his hand outstretched and looking delighted (Kai’s ancient, who is Azem). — Azem (optimistic wanderer) reconnected with his childhood friend, Erebus, after joining the convocation. Erebus was charged with putting down rogue concepts but found the work depressing and wanted to return to the star and end his duty. Azem invited him on “one last adventure” before doing so, and they had their “last” adventure many times over as they became inseparable lovers, something their friends found either endearing or obnoxious. By the final days and in the moments prior to sundering, Azem had hardened his heart in the chaos and Erebus instead found in the reconstitution he had once wanted a chance for hope, promising to meet him again. In turn, they became sundered souls, but their personalities had essentially swapped when reborn again - Hex as the adventure-loving optimist and Kai as the serious, realistic one.

The scions meant to spoil their heroes by getting them the most lavish of weddings at the sanctum…but forgot that neither worships the twelve. Their Eorzean-style union was fun and joyful, reprieve from the danger and doom.
Larger au ra holds up the smaller as they kiss in front of the sanctum of the twelve. Hex is dressed in a dark gown adorned with glowing butterflies. Kai is in a white suit Hex carrying Kai off post ceremony. They both look extremely joyful. Hex looks back at the camera with a toothy smile of mischief, Kai gives a thumbs up — As Kai is non-religious and Hex believes in Nhaama, the Eorzean wedding was for their friends. They both had their own customs (or defiance of them) that they performed, but this was a fitting wrap up to their eternal bond. Pre-DT.

He pulled the goldfish out of the water. "It looks like you," he said. Kai, who had been horribly upset, was caught so off-guard by the absurdity of this that he couldn't help but smile. He'd get him back later.
Two au ra, one male xaela (Hex) and one transmale raen (Kai), in Tamamizu. Hex is crouched and presenting a domakin fish to Kai, who looks like he's hiding his face. Having returned to the area of his birth which exiled him and acted like he didn't exist made him feel terrible and angry, so Hex's out-of-pocket cheer made him feel a bit better. Kai, now white-haired from sin eaters, hands Hex a baby bat with glowing eyes to match those he acquired when he tried to save Kai from his transformation. Kai has been positively listless since, so this show of personality and memory was enough to bring Hex to tears from sentimentality.
