One think I'm trying to do more, at least on here, is expand my ability to actually engage with stuff I see and not just lurk and scroll like I did on the other site for years. If I see something I like, I give it a like, it costs nothing and I get to see more in the future!

Believe it or not, I do make some! I just...don't have enough of any real quality or consistency to proudly show off...

Everyone tells me to just watch tutorials when trying to learn art and coding (stuff that I want to get good at rn) but holy crap my eyes just glaze over ever time it's so BORING
I think I'm cooked lol

Like, were there any rebellions super early when gems didn't have the technology to control others as easily? Were there different factions that eventually lost a war to the Diamonds?
What did the gems early space program look like? They can't just have become master starfarers overnight!

I really want to try and make some SU stories that relate to the early history of gemkind. I know that in canon it's probably just "diamonds emerged, created all other gems and immediately built a civilisation and blasted into space" but I feel like there's so much more potential to flesh out

As a fic writer, sometimes it's super hard to engage with other ppl who do the same, for the same subjects. Mainly cause of idea crossover, if someone thought the same idea I have, is it really special or unique?
Maybe I'm just overreacting lol but anxiety sucks
