Three bands local to Bradford, three very different vibes, one top night for my last gig of 2025. Obviously everyone will know I went for Paradise Lost, but Terrorvision are always a fun live band and New Model Army rounded things off nicely.

It was absolute Madness at Newcastle Arena last night, all the hits and a nice Christmassy Wizzard cover to boot.

It's a difficult question but pick your favourite colour.

The Legendary Orchestra was a great idea to open up for Sabaton, playing their own interpretations of classic Sabaton songs (that weren't in their own set of course). Top night all round.

Sabaton were absolutely amazing at Manchester Co-Op Live last night, always great fun and always enjoy themselves and God those flames are hot!

Bit of a late Where's Wally from Sunday night.

Raging Speedhorn, stripped down to a 5 piece for the night, destroyed Newcastle Trillians last night.

Weird venue for a gig, too much pub and not enough floor space, but they soldiered on with Daf on bass and got the crowd moving in the end.

Mastiff also suitably assaulted our eardrums beforehand.

The pictures accurately reflect the chaos & fury of a Raging Speedhorn gig after they levelled Manchester Star & Garter last night.

Seeing them again in Newcastle on Sunday so if Frank could try not to fall off stage and drag a speaker stack onto my head this time that would be great.

I think* that's the first gig I've been to where the singer drunkenly fell off the stage onto me and brought a stack of speakers down with him onto my head. Great fun though, absolute carnage and I got another setlist.

Lacuna Coil were on top form at Newcastle Northumbria University last night, I also managed to add to my setlist haul thanks to drummer Richard Meiz.

And the run of gig goodies continues.
November 26, 2025 at 10:46 PM
Ash were great fun at Newcastle Boiler Shop last night, mixing up a top selection of hits with their new album. And I kept up my run of gig goodies with Tim's setlist.

My run of goodies continues after getting Tim Wheeler's setlist

This evening's entertainment in Bradford.

Says something when this is an improvement on yesterday's view.
November 10, 2025 at 4:14 PM
And a double plectrum score for the second gig running!
November 10, 2025 at 9:54 AM
Spineshank, Drowning Pool and (hed) p.e. taking us back in time last night at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle.

Have to admit I was there for Spineshank, who played The Height of Callousness in full, glad to see Jonny made it for his first full gig of the tour!

It's the hotel room view dreams are made of.

Yesterday consisted of Guisborough coming back from 2-0 and 3-2 down to win 4-3 against second placed Shildon with 3 penalties and 2 sendings off to go 6 points clear at the top. Then an evening of this. Decent day all round.

3 great nights out in a row ended with Inside No. 9 at Hull New Theatre. Absolutely brilliant, thoroughly recommended if you haven't caught it, like all the stuff they do condensed into 2 hours. And I was curious to see how they incorporated the guest star, very funny.
