not AI in general; I think such a generality is buying into the flawed idea that there is a category of things uniformly comprehensible as AI

Thank you for writing this! I've been trying to figure how to address this question of privacy-respecting disclosures when auditing AI systems too (although historically this discourse has been centered around AI devs' proprietary data), so I'm very interested in the answers you develop
