Over 30 years ago, Ronald Suny wrote about Stalin as a difficult historical subject.
November 16, 2025 at 8:00 PM
‘Their execution was not the result of espionage or treason, but of Stalin’s growing paranoia.’

it’s easy to say Stalin’s violent behaviour was due to ‘paranoia’, and big history channels often do so. But we’ll simply never know and it’s too straightforward an explanation for the Great Terror.

Another update from the patriotic Telegraph
November 12, 2025 at 9:05 AM
It’s weird to see columnists with some very fixed political views accusing others of having ‘hermetically sealed’ mindsets.

Through the looking glass when the Telegraph has *serious concerns* about the accuracy of journalism

How am I only just learning about ‘Proletarian TV’?

‘Josef Stalin will forever be remembered by those able to look past the ahistorical formulations and hysterical propaganda churned out by bourgeois ‘experts’.’ 😂
