Last month, I discovered the amazing Porters bar in Cardiff where I saw Angharad Wynne, a storyteller. She relayed a bit of Culhwch & Olwen. Inspired, I read it again. Why is this tale not more widely known? It is great. King Arthur, giants, Twrch Trwyth. Why is it not a movie or Netflix series?

This is L/Cpl Thomas Henry Griffiths, my great great uncle. He, along with many of his comrades from 1st battalion Monmouthshire Regiment, was killed in battle on 8 May 1915 at the battle of Frezenberg Ridge.
He is commemorated on the Menin Gate in Ypres and on the Chepstow cenotaph.
