Your gender do not give you exclusive rights to an opinion. They fact is that woman can and do compete with men on ultra distance running. That is not an opinion. It is fact. In a sport where a a large part is physiological, setting woman a lower achievement is doing them a disservice to them.

Why is that important? If you follow the sport you will know that woman has won many ultra events. As it is much a mind game as it is endurance, having a lesser goal will cause you to underperform. Hence the charge that a woman’s prize holds woman back. And I agree.

Ultra distance running needs no gender segregation. I agree with Lazarus Lake, that a female prize may beholding woman back and can be considered sexist in a way.

At the point when people will start shorting their lives for glories and your entertainment? Look at the average life expectancy of a pro cyclist in the 70. It was in the 50’s.

I was a competitive cyclist in the late 80s early 90s. We used a mixture that we got from a local pharmacy that we would put on our legs to keep out the cold and provide some heat in the early part of the rides. It’s base was olive mixed with something like deep heat. Worked like a charm.

This is why we don’t want the American system in British soccer. Poor performing teams gets relegated to a lower league. Losing as consequences. Instead fans get to watch poor games and the club owners don’t care as the still get paid.
