Of course it's much nicer to get there, even it it's still in construction.
I was particularly impressed by the rail system (top middle) that holds the giant windscreen panels (left). The white part on the right is the structure of the #ELT.

On #Paranal there is a fixed scope through which one can look at the #elt being erected. Here's an amateur mobile photo to capture the view through that.

Instead I get to look at things like this all the time. Exciting as well, and no lasers needed!

The #rubin pictures look great!
I guess there's still something to improve, though. If I zoom into it at some points with the skyviewer (https://skyviewer.app/explorer, here in the Virgo image) I do see some dark patches that look strange to me.
