I’ve been reading the murderbot dairies (Martha Wells) and absolutely falling in love with them. The self reflections of a rogue security cyborg who would rather watch tv shows than deal with humans. It is wonderful, funny, engaging sci-fi

Studying regency England recently. Lots of ultra wealthy that showed status by buying art -painting,sculpture, architecture,furniture etc. Which for all the ills at least left a legacy of art we can still enjoy today. Modern ultra wealthy seem to show status by hoarding wealth. Wish we got art.
