All of Canada's living former prime ministers are asking Canadians to fly the red maple leaf this weekend in a huge display of national pride as the country stares down U.S. President Trump's threats to its economy and sovereignty.
The five told Canadians to "show the flag as never before."

3) Yes, we have some problems but nothing like you must live through every day. Canada: strong and free. Oh, in case you were curious: We will never, ever be the 51st sta​te.

2) We have a non-political Elections Canada - no gerrymandering. We have actual climate change programs. We do not believe in diversity, we believe every person is unique.

Why stay? Imagine real democracy. Think about universal health care for everyone. Yes, we have all the seasons. We have someone in charge of the government who can't rule like a king. We don't have an unelected president called Musk.

U.S. tariffs on China? From the BBC: "the Chinese economy is not as reliant on the US as it was back in 2020. Beijing has strengthened its trade agreements across Africa, South America and South East Asia. It is now the largest trading partner of more than 120 countries."

Today I only bought Made in Canada 🇨🇦 groceries. It can be done.
