As if a sign from the universe, she heard the low sound of Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing by Stevie Wonder playing through the speakers dotted around the restaurant. The memory of her dad grabbing her mum taking over her vision, watching him pull her into him as they danced around the kitchen. Her mum’s chocolate brown eyes sparkling with the love she had for her dad as he twirled her around, dipping her down, much to her delight as the sounds of laughter echoed around her, fading away as the memory slipped away with the wind. How bittersweet that the happy memories of her childhood would only be remembered by her. That her parents ceased to exist and in their place were Wendall and Monica Wilkins, strangers who had no idea they had a daughter out there. The guilt of what she had done began to weigh on her settling into her chest, reminding her that no matter what she did, the people she loved always bore the consequences of her actions–no matter how well placed her intentions were.

I missed #dhrwipwednesday here but it’s Wednesday somewhere 🤣🤣

So here is a bit of a longer preview (subject to change) of part 3 Hermione’s POV
As she lay back on the sand she had never felt more connected to the earth, to herself. Feeling the magic all around her, sinking into her bones, vibrating in the ground. She let herself just lie there, mind drifting far away, being taken away with the wind, carrying her over the waters and back to him. As much as she tried she couldn’t help it, couldn't help when her mind drifted to him. The way she could picture him here with her, his wind swept hair, creating a halo-like glow in the sun. His alabaster skin would turn a slight pink from being in the sun for too long. She could imagine his carefree laughter, his smile lighting up his face as he playfully splashed her, the water lapping around his waist as he moved closer to her. The sun reflecting off the water droplets that would cling to his chest looking like tiny diamonds trailing down his body. Tears pooling at the corners of her eyes–leaking out when the dream of what could have been became too much.

Question for the masses
Question: I’m writing a 4 part Dramione story?thing (idk what to call it) and I am trying to figure out a schedule. I still have to finish part 3 and start part 4 My beta has read part 1 and I’ve sent part 2 to her (I’ve also told her no pressure and timeframe). But my question is, do people have preferences on release times? Because my options I’m thinking are: 1. Wait till everything is completed and release 1 a day or week or all at once 2. Release each one when it’s done (no schedule it comes out when it comes out) Personally I just want to get the first one out 👀 but I’m also impatient and I also hate waiting and want to binge everything. So thoughts? 😅
